The month of June rounded out another great quarter for Scripps Networks Interactive’s portfolio of cable channels, with all six networks up for the quarter on a total day basis. HGTV and Food Network landed in the top 10 for the month in primetime among P25-54, while DIY Network and Cooking Channel marked their best quarter ever.

HGTV
enjoyed its second highest rated Q2 and third highest rated quarter ever. It ranked as the quarter's top cable network among upscale W25-54 in prime and June's top cable network among W25-54 in prime, driven by such hits as Flip or Flop and Brother vs. Brother.

Travel Channel ratings grew 11 percent among P25-54 in primetime, marking its third straight quarter of year-over-year growth (and eight consecutive months of growth). Ratings drivers included Expedition Unknown, Bizarre Foods and Mysteries at the Museum.

Both Cooking Channel (up 15 percent) and DIY Network (up 13 percent) experienced their best quarter ever among P25-54 in prime, bolstered by titles such as Cake Hunters and Big Bad BBQ Brawl, and Barnwood Builders and Vanilla Ice Project, respectively.

With a 54 percent jump among P25-54 in prime, Great American Country celebrated its best quarter since 2008, led by Big Time RV and Lakefront Bargain Hunt.

Food Network’s tentpole Food Network Star continued to perform against record-breaking Sunday night competition. To date, the season has been seen by nearly 24 million P2+ viewers and ranks 4th in its timeslot across all ad-supported cable.
