Scripps Lifestyle Studios had 1.5 billion video views in the month of November, up 82% over last year. Food Network ranked 2nd in social video views with HGTV and Travel Channel in the top 5 among their respective categories for the month of November (source: Tubular Labs).

Scripps brands TV Everywhere apps were redesigned and saw video view growth of 71% over last year. Top shows across all brands include Fixer Upper, Holiday Baking Championship, House Hunters, Flip or Flop: Fort Worth, and Chopped.

Top social content included Food Network’s How to Make Four-Flavor Sheet Pan Pie, Jimmy's Down the Street, and digital influencer Baked by Dan’s Fried Egg Cake. HGTV’s top performers include Ping Pong Ball Christmas Crafts and Fun and Fancy Ways to Fold a Napkin. Genius Kitchen’s Genius Kitchen's Pecan Pie Cheesecake was the top video in engagement across all digital brands. Instagram views saw growth of 216% over last year, and top Snapchat content included “What 100 Calories Really Looks Like” and “4 Eating Healthy Myths You Still Believe.”

Digital brands debuted new episodes of Food Network’s Food Network Finds, HGTV’s The Find & The Fix, and Clash of the Crafters starring Scripps Lifestyle Expert Maria Antoinette on Facebook Watch. Genius Kitchen posted new episodes of GK NOW across Facebook and YouTube, and new episodes ofCarnivorous starring Courtney Rada and Feast with Friends starring Dan Churchill were posted to YouTube.
Food Network's live multi-platform Cookie Party on December 8th drove 7 million video views and nearly 4 million total minutes viewed. The day-long event featured social video activity across Facebook and Snapchat. Read more here.

For the holidays, Food Network’s “In the Kitchen” app launched an update to the augmented reality (AR) experience, exclusively for the iPhone and iPad. Now users can decorate virtual cupcakes with fun and seasonally relevant toppers, background frames, stickers, and captions, including candy canes and snowflakes. Read more here.
Food Network’s Messenger bot launched a “Holiday Spirit” generator where users are presented with a snowflake button, and, once pressed, they receive back creative and simple holiday party ideas. When users hit the cookie emoji button, they will receive a wide variety of holiday cookie recommendations, complete with a recipe video. Read more about the update here.
