KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep. 8, 2016-- Scripps Networks Interactive (Nasdaq: SNI) today announced the upcoming launch of its leading cable network HGTV in Poland. In January 2017, HGTV will be added to the channel portfolio of TVN, the leading Polish media company wholly owned by Scripps Networks.

HGTV will introduce Polish audiences to superstar experts, beautiful houses, breathtaking gardens, fascinating families, compelling renovations and stunning home transformations. In addition to hit international programming, HGTV will air new local formats featuring the beloved Polish star Dorota Szelagowska. The network will address the changing needs of Polish audiences, especially concerning the popular do-it-yourself approach to home remodeling.
