Growth on Tuesday was led by the 9 p.m. premiere of “Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations,” with culinary explorer Andrew Zimmern, which rated 73% above the year-ago time slot’s average. The April 12 sneak peek of “Andrew Zimmern’s Driven by Food” at 10 p.m. posted a 178% ratings increase in its time period, year over year.
Led by the success of the 9 p.m. premieres of “Expedition Unknown” with adventurer Josh Gates, Wednesday prime ratings were up 5% year-over-year – Travel Channel’s best April performance since 2011.
Thursday prime saw a 28% increase year-over-year for P25-54, driven by 9 p.m. premieres of “Mysteries at the Museum” featuring history explorer and museum enthusiast Don Wildman. The series rated 65% above its year-ago time slot’s average.
