Ahn, who remains based in Knoxville, joined Scripps Networks Interactive in 2011 following a 17-year career at NBCUniversal, where he oversaw various aspects of affiliate sales, business development and financial management before being named Executive Vice President of TV Networks Distribution.
Ahn's prior professional experience includes working as a financial analyst at HBO and Comedy Central, and managing strategic planning and analysis for EMI Records Group. He is a graduate of Boston College and holds a master's in business administration from Fordham University.
Ahn is widely-respected as an industry leader and has earned numerous industry honors over the years, including the 2013 NCTA Vanguard Award for Marketing. Ahn was also inducted into CableFAX's 2010 Sales Hall of Fame, as well as being named to their "Most Influential Minorities in Cable" and "Top 100 Cable Power Players" list.
