Featuring the site's immense library of 500,000 recipes, the Food.com app offers the ultimate in meal planning and shopping tools, as well as location-based grocery deals. At launch, the app is sponsored by McCormick, a leading manufacturer of spices, herbs and flavorings. It allows users to search and save recipes in a custom recipe box, build organized shopping lists and see what's on sale at local stores. Deal information is geo-fenced, giving users the ability to browse local circulars from within the app and see what's on sale in the context of their shopping lists.
