|New York - November 29, 2017 - Alton Brown has signed a new exclusive multi-year convergent deal to remain with Food Network and Cooking Channel, it was announced today by Allison Page, General Manager, U.S. Programming and Development, Scripps Networks Interactive. A fan-favorite and resident food historian, scientist and culinary commentator, Brown will look towards developing both new television series and digital content in partnership with the networks' creative teams, including returning to the universe of his acclaimed and award-winning Good Eats, allowing him to deliver more of what his fans have been craving. Brown is currently hosting Iron Chef Showdown, along with retrospective series Iron Chef: Behind the Battle. A prolific creator, producer and on-camera talent who has demonstrated an ability to resonate with audiences of all ages and across all platforms, Brown is also lending his talent and skills to Alton's Ingredient Alchemy, a new FoodNetwork.com series taking a closer look at some of the Iron Chef secret ingredients.
