At the beginning of May, Scripps Networks Interactive concluded its £65m (US$102.7m) purchase of Travel Channel International to add to the US Travel Channel it already owns. Scripps has also been rolling out its Food Network channel in Europe, South Africa and Asia and commissioning original content. Now thoughts are turning to the similar potential of HGTV.
