Position: President, Content Distribution & Marketing
Henry Ahn is the President of Content Distribution and Marketing for Scripps Networks Interactive. He was promoted to this role in 2015 and is responsible for the distribution strategy of Scripps Networks’ portfolio of lifestyle networks – HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel and Great American Country – and related content across all platforms. As an executive of the company, Ahn also serves as a member of the management committee and diversity council.

Ahn came to Scripps Networks from NBCUniversal. In his 17 years with NBCUniversal, he oversaw various aspects of affiliate sales management, business development and financial management, including key distribution deals for 16 of NBCU’s cable networks including USA, Syfy, CNBC, MSNBC and Bravo, as well as the Olympics on cable.

A graduate of Boston College with an MBA from Fordham University, Ahn’s prior professional experience includes working as a financial analyst at HBO and Comedy Central, and managing strategic planning and analysis for EMI Records Group. Ahn is widely-respected as an industry leader with the ability to influence and maintain key relationships at all levels. He has earned numerous industry honors over the years, including the 2013 NCTA Vanguard Award for Marketing.

Ahn was also inducted into CableFAX’s 2010 Sales Hall of Fame and was named one of CableFAX’s “Most Influential Minorities in Cable.” He has appeared multiple times on CableFAX’s top 100 cable power players list. In 2009, Ahn was selected as the Co-Affiliate Sales Person of the Year for Large Network Groups by CableFAX. Ahn and his wife, Raye, reside in Knoxville, Tennessee, and Edgewater, New Jersey.
