Position: Senior Vice President, Integrated Marketing
Bob Madden is Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Scripps Networks Interactive’s Travel Channel. In this position, he manages complex relationships and projects in coordination with programming, program planning and strategy, sales and content distribution. His broad background in the digital space strengthens the brands’ abilities to be strong partners to the digital team on all platforms.

Prior to this post, Madden had previously served as General Manager and Senior Vice President for the digital food category at Scripps Networks Interactive. He led the teams responsible for creating the most compelling and popular cross-platform food experiences across the web, mobile and social for three powerhouse brands: FoodNetwork.com, CookingChannelTV.com and Food.com.

Among his many accomplishments at Scripps Networks Interactive, Madden launched CookingChannelTV.com, re-branded and re-launched Recipezaar as Food.com (now the third largest food site on the web), and developed the Food Network In the Kitchen app.  

Prior to joining the company in 2007, Madden worked in new product development at Unilever and as a brand manager at Nabisco. He began his career in digital at TheGlobe.com as the Director of Marketing and then moved to AOL for several years where he led marketing for AOL Search, Moviefone and AOLMusic.

Madden holds a bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and a MBA from New York University.  Madden works in the company’s New York City office.
